All about me...

A little about how i became interested in art

Education:
I am an Undergraduate at University California of San Diego currently majoring in the studies of Visual Arts, specifically Art History.

Experience:
Along side school have been a Babysitter and Nanny for the past 8 years, and big sister of two for 19 years. I also have 3 years experience assisting in an after school program teaching Art to Elementary School Students in Southern California. I remember being a part of the same program in my youth and how much I gained from being immersed in Art at such a young age.
It is this experience that has inspired me to start Art Unite. Spending so much time with children has taught me how much children treasure hands on experiences with painting, drawing, and learning!

Inspiration
With age I found my passion in Art History, however I can't help but wonder why I was not exposed to this expansive subject earlier. With this question in mind I set out to try and create activities that combine hands on creation and while learning about famous artists and the techniques they use.
